Livingston, Texas Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (Night Shift) Locum Tenens Full-Time Ongoing Coverage | 7p–7a | No Procedures | Paragon EMR Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide night shift hospitalist coverage at a respected community hospital in Livingston, Texas . This ongoing locum assignment offers consistent scheduling, a supportive clinical team, and the opportunity to manage a steady inpatient census in a modern, well-equipped facility. Assignment Highlights Location : Livingston, Texas Setting : Inpatient Hospital Medicine | 66-Bed Acute Care Facility ICU : 10-Bed Open ICU Start Date : ASAP – Ongoing Schedule : 7p–7a | Full-Time or Part-Time Availability Considered EMR : Paragon Coverage Model : Day : 1 MD Night : 1 APP (Independent Coverage) Average Census : 10–12 patients overnight Average Admits : 4 per night Supervision : Collaborates with supervising physician; Hospitalist available for oversight Rapid Response : APP participates in Rapid Response Team Procedures : None required Clinical Scope & Responsibilities Admit, manage, and cross-cover inpatients across all units, including ICU Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue activations in coordination with the ED Communicate effectively with nursing and specialty teams to ensure seamless care transitions Utilize Tiger Text for internal communication and collaboration Perform thorough documentation within Paragon EMR Candidate Requirements Licensure : Active & unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS (all required) Experience : 1 year of inpatient or hospitalist APP experience preferred Specialty : Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) Why This Opportunity?
