About The Position

Job Title : Circulating RN

Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 40 hours per week

Experience : 2+ years

License : Current RN license

Certifications : Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS by the American Heart Association

Must-Have : Moderate sedation and PACU experience highly preferred

Description :

The Circulating RN is responsible for the delivery of care in the peri-operative setting.

This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients of all ages.

The Circulating RN coordinates with the surgical team to maintain professional nursing standards.

S / he may also be required to train other nursing staff.

Equipment utilized includes computerized charting and Meditech.

Shifts are varied but typically fall within Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, or 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7 AM to 7 : 30 PM or 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

On-call night shifts may be required.

The unit has a nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 1, and scrubs will be provided by the facility.

Additional on-call requirements may be necessary.
