Situated in the nationally designated city of Delray Beach, the Center provides a broad spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care to clients and their families in surrounding communities.  You can make a positive impact in the community on day 1!  Essential Duties Assist the mobile response team by accompanying various Mobile Response employees in the activity of a client home visit to observe.

Answering phones and directing incoming calls professionally, quickly and accurately Interact with mental health clients and convey any observations to management Assist with outreach programs but accompanying other employees while Administrative tasks, filing, faxing, verifying paperwork as needed.

Supports recovery planning proposing strategies, offering support, information and resources for an individual to achieve their own desired tasks and goals Engages peers in collaborative and caring relationship Validates experiences feelings; conveys hope of recovery Shares sentiments of wellness and recovery in a connecting and relatable way KSAs, Competencies Team player Calm demeaner when interacting with clients other staff members Basic data PC skills (MS Office) Customer service Ability to follow directions Cognitive Ability to interpret the Baker and Marchman Act, Program / Center policies and procedures Ability to understand Abuse and Confidentiality laws Communication Ability to write in English, in a clear and concise format and compose other business related correspondence.

Effectively and professionally communicate / work with with all staff, clients and families, verbally and in writing.

Work effectively with a wide range and level of staff, clients and outside customers 2 years of lived continuous recovery experience from any Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and / or personal experience with addiction in family members or loved ones preferred.

The following certifications are a plus :

• Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counselor (DARC), Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA), Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) and / or any other applicable trainings / certifications related to addiction treatment.
• Aware Recovery Care requires proof of COVID vaccination prior to employment.
