divh2Private Client Banker / h2pLocation : 1300 State Avenue - Marysville, Washington 98270 / ppJob Summary : Be a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in our Key Bank communities. The Private Client Banker (PCB) is part of the Key Private Client Program and will focus on the entire client relationship with a plan-based approach to financial advice. As a PCB, you will deliver and refer appropriate financial solutions to KeyBanks client base with up to $2M in investable assets. The PCB helps new and existing clients achieve confidence in their financial wellness by assessing their financial needs, gathering and documenting client data, and offering appropriate products and services. PCBs identify products and services to meet client needs and refer to appropriate sales professionals in Retail, Key Investment Services, Private Bank, Mortgage or Business Banking. We take pride in serving our clients and making them feel that no bank will fight harder for them. / ppResponsibilities : / pulliEmbodies a strong client experience culture, being present with every client and teammate and realizing the impact we can have on their day, personally, professionally, and financially. / liliListen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations and provide effective and customized financial wellness recommendations to clients; Delivers on client solutions through referring of investment and insurance products / liliConsistently attains individual activity, behavior, and outcome expectations. / liliBuilds a client referral pipeline via identification and development of internal and external centers of influence; Employs a disciplined approach to prospecting; documents calling efforts. / liliDevelops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of private client products and services, as well as knowledge of competitive products and services to ensure meaningful in-depth financial wellness conversations with clients / liliOpening personal and business accounts (consumer checking, small business, various deposit products, home equity, unsecured lending, certificates of deposit, etc.). / liliDeveloping strong partnerships with branch teammates and line of business partners focusing on client acquisition and deepening the relationship of current clients; effectively managing internal and external centers of influence. / liliEnsuring compliance with operational, risk, security and audit procedures and policies including appropriate documentation of client interactions. / liliSupport of branch operations including assisting with client transactions on the Teller line as needed. / liliParticipate in and occasionally facilitate morning huddles and end of day debriefs / liliPerforms other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and / or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice / liliComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Keys clients and Key. / li / ulpEducation Qualifications : / pulliHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required) or / liliBachelors Degree (preferred) / li / ulpExperience Qualifications : / pulliExperience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals and building referral sources in insurance and investment products. (required) / liliFoundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting and networking. (required) / liliComfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful. (preferred) / liliInterpersonal interaction skills and an ability to build rapport in matter of minutes is vital. (required) / liliDemonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence, as this role will require significant influence of partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals. (required) / liliWorking knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.).
