Visual Inspection Specialist - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

The Visual Inspection Specialist - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and calibrating visual inspection test sets, ensuring their readiness for use for the Visual Inspection Qualification Program. This role involves creating and maintaining a defect library, documenting the design and lifecycle management of test sets, and performing visual inspections of pharmaceutical products per regulatory guidelines.
- Assemble, maintain, and calibrate visual inspection test sets, ensuring their readiness for use.
- Assemble, maintain, and calibrate visual inspection challenge sets for automatic visual inspection.
- Create and maintain a defect library for training and reference purposes.
- Document the design and lifecycle management of test sets, keeping accurate records.
- Perform visual inspections of pharmaceutical products in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct Knapp studies to identify baseline inspection thresholds.
- Troubleshoot and address issues related to test sets and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, production, and engineering.
- Adhere to safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Stay current with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to test sets.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.PDA Courses related to Visual Inspection desired.2 to 5 year(s) related experience required.Visual Inspection and Pharmaceutical Experience preferred.FDA Regulated Industry Experience preferred.Training and / or Leadership Experience preferred.Knowledge of visual inspection standards and techniques, including USPand USP
required.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques required.Experience in project management and coordination required.Shift : Monday- Friday 8 : 00am- 4 : 30pm. This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
Compensation and Benefits :
