About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Profession : Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 11 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : 2+ years of experience required. Must have OR experience. Experience with X-ray is required.

License : Michigan license verification required.

Certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : BLS must be AHA certified. Must be willing to obtain prior to start.

Description :

Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.

Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensures the needs of individual patients are met.

Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including, but not limited to, x-ray.

Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.

Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

Ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.

A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is preferred, but not required for other professions.

Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.

Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

On-call rotation includes one week of call per month from 11 PM-7 AM on weeknights and Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM, with one weekend per month required.

Weekends are necessary.
