PART-TIME (20-29 HOURS PER WEEK) and FULL-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

QualDerm Partners is seeking a skilled Part-Time Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are committed to providing exceptional skin and aesthetics wellness services, focusing on delivering high-quality care in dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. In this part-time role, you will work closely with our clinical team to ensure efficient operations and deliver compassionate patient care. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
  • Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
  • Perform basic lab tests and manage specimen collection for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Schedule appointments and facilitate effective communication within the office.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare regimens.
  • Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dermatology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to manage patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software.
