Job descriptionHealth, dental, and vision insurance Paid time-off Tuition reimbursement 401K with company contribution Discounts on wide array of services / entertainment Bachelor’s degree in human services, criminal justice education or closely related field required CADC, LADC II or other comparable certification / license or equivalent experience with substance use treatment groups / services preferred. Experience working with justice involved individuals and / or in a correctional setting preferred. Staff must be able to pass extensive background check and pass drug screening CA CB
Location : Suffolk County Nashua Street Jail in Boston, MA
Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Pay rate : $28.85 / hour ($60,000 annually)
The Counselor is responsible for :
- Providing evidence based psycho-education according to approved curriculum to offenders and completing required documentation.
