Description
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team and help patients regain movement, strength, and independence. As a PT, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from injury, surgery, chronic illness, or neurological conditions.
Your responsibilities will include performing functional evaluations, developing evidence-based treatment plans, providing hands-on therapy and exercise instruction, and educating patients and caregivers on techniques for continued progress at home. You will collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and effective rehabilitation.
Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.This department provides evaluation and treatment for both inpatients and outpatients with neurological, muscular, and skeletal trauma or dysfunction. It includes the treatment of disorders with physical agents and methods, such as massage, manipulation, therapeutic exercises, cold, heat, hydrotherapy, electrical stimulation, and light to assist in habilitating or rehabilitating patients and in restoring function after an illness or injury. If your department operates as inpatient only, please notify FP&A. You can still use this department but we will map it to the inpatient-only benchmark.
Requirements and Qualifications
BLS certification
Minimum one (1) year of experience
