    • Position Overview :
    • We are currently seeking professional

    • CDL
    • Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers
    • to join our team in Ohio. As an OTR driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight to various destinations across state lines, primarily on interstate routes. Youll be expected to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods, while adhering to all regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT).

    • Key Responsibilities :
    • Interstate EXPEDITITE Transportation :
    • Drive long-haul routes across multiple states to transport freight, ensuring timely deliveries. These loads are time sensitive, but they offer quick unload. Loads will be expedited auto parts.
    • Pre-trip / Post-trip Inspections :
    • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
    • Safety Compliance :
    • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies, including hours-of-service (HOS) rules, vehicle inspection, and traffic laws.
    • Cargo Handling :
    • Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage.
    • Recordkeeping :
    • Accurately complete and submit daily logbooks, mileage reports, and other required documentation using electronic logging devices (ELDs) or paper logs, as required.
    • Communication :
    • Maintain consistent communication with dispatch regarding delivery times, route updates, and any issues encountered on the road.
    • Vehicle Maintenance :
    • Keep trucks clean and ensure minor maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
    • Customer Service :
    • Interact with customers professionally when needed, ensuring a positive experience and handling any issues that may arise during transport.
    • Qualifications :
    • Valid CDL Class A :
    • Must have a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A in good standing.
    • Minimum Experience :
    • At least 3 years of commercial semi truck driving experience with at least minimum of 1 year of OTR experience with a clean driving record.
    • Clean Driving Record :
    • No major accidents or violations within the past 3 years (minor violations may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
    • DOT Physical and Drug Test :
    • Ability to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screenings.
    • Interstate Travel :
    • Willingness to travel across multiple states for extended periods (typically if drivers want to make 5k+ miles a month they need to stay on the road 5-6 days of the week).
    • Strong Communication Skills :
    • Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and fellow team members.
    • Safety-Oriented :
    • A strong commitment to safety and compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Ability to Handle Long Hours :
    • Ability to drive long shifts and adjust to a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
    • Preferred Qualifications :
    • Experience with dry van, flatbed, or reefer trailers.
    • Knowledge of basic truck maintenance.
    • Familiarity with ELD systems and electronic logging.
    • Ability to handle varying weather conditions and road challenges.

    • Weekly Pay :
    • Consistent weekly pay with direct deposit.
    • Home Time :
    • Flexible home time depending on the length of the route, typically every 10-14 days (customizable based on preference).
