Job description

Job Title : Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team working with Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a prominent government contractor supporting our nation's veterans. We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role offers flexibility with a PRN schedule and the opportunity to work in your own office.

Job Responsibilities :

Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
No prescribing or treatment involved.
Manage follow-up administrative work, including addendums and medical opinions.
Quick credentialing and onboarding process.

Qualifications :

Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

Must have a valid active unrestricted full license in New York.

Must hold an AANP certification.

Willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.

Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements :

Current and unrestricted New York state license.

AANP certification.

Proficiency with a laptop (no Mac / Apple products).
