Job description

Pride Health is seeking a Mental Health Coordinator for a 13-week contract (with high possibility of extension) at a correctional facility in California City, CA . This is a great opportunity for experienced candidates to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while gaining valuable experience.

Position Details :

  • Hours per Week : 40 hours
  • Travel Pay : $3,075 / week

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews with inmates.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on identified needs and functional levels.
  • Provide counseling, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management to support inmate mental health.
  • Document all assessments, treatments, and interventions in the healthcare record in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to professional and ethical guidelines.
  • Apply knowledge of psychological counseling theories and evidence-based practices in treatment delivery.

    • Experience :

  • 2 years of Social Work experience

    • Certifications & Skills :

  • Active LPC / LCSW / LICSW / LMFT License
  • BLS (AHA)
