Position Overview

A Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) provides short-term clinical support to healthcare facilities experiencing staffing shortages. Travel RNs deliver high-quality patient care in diverse settings, quickly adapting to new environments, policies, and care teams. Assignments typically range from 8–26 weeks and may include hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and specialty units.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on nursing standards and facility protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and manage patient care plans.

Rapidly adjust to new clinical environments, workflows, EMR systems, and staffing structures.

Perform skills and tasks based on assignment (e.g., ICU monitoring, ER triage, OR circulating / scrubbing, Med-Surg bedside care, Labor & Delivery support).
