Job descriptionProven successful warehouse and production management or supervisory experience Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems Math skills for production calculations Excellent communication skills The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is a plus. An associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred

Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Indianapolis, IN, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.
Responsibilities / Duties :
- Manage shipping and production employees
- Establish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
- Establish inbound / outbound logistics daily
- Coordinate with Corporate purchasing team for material plannings
- Direct supervision of employees
- Additional duties may be required
