Medical Technologist(s) - Golconda, Nevada

Evening or Night shift available . Added shift differential for working off shift.
Permanent and full-time direct hire.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, or a closely related field according to current applicable state and federal regulations.
Preferred, 5 years of experience working as a Laboratory Technologist at a Critical Access Hospital.
LIS : Experience with CERNER Laboratory Information System is favorable.
Rural community.

Primary Responsibilities :

Microbiology : includes the subspecialties of Bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Virology, and Parasitology.

Core Laboratory 1 : includes General and Special Chemistry, Blood gases, Immunology, and Serology, and knowledge of manual and automation lines.

Core Laboratory 2 : includes Hematology, Coagulation, Special Coagulation, and Urinalysis.

Transfusion Services (Blood Bank) : includes Blood Transfusion medicine, and Blood Utilization and Waste.

Phlebotomist : Venipuncture and skin puncture. Specimen preparation for reference laboratories.
