Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant for a Primary Care Office in Orlando! You will provide evaluation and management, under the supervision of and collaboration with a physician.

  • Full time Monday to Friday
  • PTO, paid holidays, sick days

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate patients with history / interviews and physical exams
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, order and analyze diagnostics, and review medical records
  • Provide counsel, education and medical advice to patients
  • Educate patients on overall wellness, health maintenance, preventative care
  • Efficiently utilize EMR for documentation
  • Follow up with patients' conditions
  • Participate in quality improvements
  • Maintain a teamwork, respectful and collegial work environment
  • Qualifications :

  • BASIC REQUIREMENTS : All applicants must meet the following basic qualifications.

  • Citizenship. Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Education. Graduate of a training program which is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of PA (ARC-PA) or one of its predecessor organizations.
  • Certification. Must have successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE). National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
  • Licensure. Must possess an active, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice in Florida.
