Job Description : Job Summary

  • The Assistant Manager role is responsible for leading the Enterprise Federated Identity POD to drive access management capabilities such as Identity Federation, Single Sign-on, Multi-factor Authentication for our workforce. This role is directly responsible for leading the charge in driving improved user experience and managing critical identity products in AWS for Southwest. The Assistant Manager also provides a People focused approach to Technology Leadership, drive a cross-functional strategic team and apply department / enterprise business knowledge to ensure value alignment. The Assistant Manager is accountable for the delivery and support of solutions and services that are technically and functionally solid, well integrated, comply with technical strategy, and meet or exceed Customer requirements.

  • Provide day-to-day Leadership, coaching, and training to the cross-functional Teams to deliver solutions and services to meet enterprise needs
  • Assist with developing and executing strategies and processes to improve performance and the value of products and services provided
  • Lead a cross-functional Team to deliver solutions and services to meet enterprise needs
  • Drive and follow through to resolution of organization, team and individual issues
  • Participate in organizational processes and initiatives, i.e. performance management, interviewing, budgeting, training, etc.
  • Provide Technical thought Leadership related to assigned functional area
  • Deliver technology solutions using best practices to achieve maximum Team productivity while delivering high quality products
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, processes, and solutions related to assigned responsibilities
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships and credibility while influencing and driving change across respective Business and Technology Teams
  • Work alongside Technology and business partners to measure financial benefits and demonstrable business value

  • Education

  • Required : High School Diploma or GED
  • Required : Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and / or equivalent formal training
  • Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Access Management space including but not limited to Identity Federation, Single Sign-On, Multi-factor Authentication using Ping Identity Products.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in managing identity products in Cloud native platforms such as AWS.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management framework and technologies.
  • Prior experiencewith IAM product management or related experience.
  • Understanding of different frameworks including PCI, SOX, AOSSP, NIST
  • Understanding of systems used for automating deployments and scaling
  • Strong understanding of CI / CD and DevOps frameworks
  • Preferred Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Privileged Access Management including but not limited to Cyberark, AWS ASM
  • Preferred CISSP, CISM, and / or Security+ certifications
  • Preferred AWS Solutions Architect Certification
  • Licensing / Certification

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station / desk / office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Other Qualifications

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information
  • Air travel with frequent overnight stays required
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

  • Competitive market salary from $128,350 to 142,600 per year
  • depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
