Job Description AECOM is seeking an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Market Lead to drive growth of ESG services within the US West Region. This position has the flexibility to allow a hybrid combination of remote and office work. This position can be based out of any AECOM West Region office within the United States including, but not limited to : Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, San Diego, CA or Sacramento, CA. The selected candidate will join the West Region Growth and Strategy team, and report to the Growth Officer. The primary emphasis of the team is to drive ESG across AECOM's West region that serves 33 states. This role will sponsor and oversee ESG leaders in the West region, as well support staff across business lines embed ESG principles into all projects. The role will include :
Job Responsibilities
The West Region ESG Market Lead will play a cross business line role, with a focus of helping to embed principles of our Sustainable Legacies strategy into all projects. The individual will have a broad understanding across sustainability and resilience topics as they relate to the world's built, natural and social environments – to be able to help identify where opportunities lie to strengthen climate resilience, achievement of net zero emissions, transitions to new energy solutions and improvement of social outcomes. The candidate will likely have a focus on one or more of these topics and a proven ability to develop business in these markets. The ESG technical lead will work closely with regional technical leads and business line ESG advocates, and with regional and global ESG leadership to drive adoption of ESG solutions at scale and to promote ESG centers of excellence in the US West region.
