Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity in Scenic Western North Carolina

UNC Health Blue Ridge – Morganton, NC | Procedures Welcome

UNC Health Blue Ridge, a not-for-profit healthcare system nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Internal Medicine physician for a Nocturnist Hospitalist role.

Location Highlights :

  • Minutes off the I-40 corridor
  • 1 hour from Charlotte, Boone, and Asheville
  • Surrounded by mountains, lakes, and state parks

Opportunity Highlights :

  • Schedule : 7-on / 7-off, 7 PM – 7 AM
  • Role : ICU management one week, floor management the next
  • Procedures : Opportunity to maintain and grow procedural skills
  • Education : Participate in teaching IM residents and medical students
  • Team : Established Hospitalist program with 11 physicians and 4 APPs
  • Support : Full spectrum of specialty care including Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Oncology, Surgery, and more

    • Candidate Requirements :

  • Internal Medicine trained
  • ABIM certified or board eligible
