About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Directional / Boring Rock Driller to join our team. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to project sites across the country. If you are a skilled driller who thrives in diverse terrain, can handle rock conditions, and enjoys being on the road — we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
Operate horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and / or rock drilling equipment safely and efficiently
Read and interpret drilling plans, blueprints, and locate utilities
Drill through various soil and rock types, including hard rock conditions
Troubleshoot and maintain drill rig and support equipment
Communicate clearly with job site supervisors and crew
Travel regularly and adapt to changing job site conditions
Requirements :
2+ years of directional or rock boring / drilling experience
Proficient with Vermeer, Ditch Witch, or similar HDD systems, AT40, AT32
Experience with mud systems and drilling through rock preferred
Ability to travel for extended periods (rotational schedule)
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
