Software Tester

Talascend is currently seeking bilingual Software Testers for contract career opportunities with our Consumer Electronics client in Plano, TX.

You must be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship. This hybrid role requires in-office work Monday through Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.

Overview
This role involves software testing to ensure compatibility of third-party applications. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and departments.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Analyze testing results and report findings to the development team.
• Create test designs, processes, cases, and documentation.
• Conduct testing per defined standards and procedures.
• Perform software testing across all phases of the software life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 1-5 years of experience in software QA testing.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and work independently or in a team.
• Bilingual in Korean.
• Preferred: Experience with Android or iOS application development.
