Security Officer - Unarmed

DMAC Security is seeking a qualified individual to join our team in the crucial role of observing and identifying criminal activities, promptly notifying the appropriate authorities. Your acute awareness and timely response are integral to maintaining secure properties and fostering a sense of safety for all. As a security officer, your duties encompass unarmed foot and / or vehicle patrols (both interior and exterior), access control, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, report generation, deterring criminal activities, and adhering to post-order specifications. This position is well-suited for someone with a customer service orientation, a friendly demeanor, energy, and a welcoming attitude. The ability to retain information about the complex is essential for addressing guests' general inquiries. Key responsibilities and functions : Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicles. Vigilantly watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may pose security concerns or safety hazards. Activate alarms or contact the police or fire department in the event of a fire or the presence of unauthorized individuals. Issue warnings to violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles. Allow authorized individuals to enter the property and monitor entrances and exits. Observe departing personnel to prevent the theft of company property, ensuring authorized removal aligns with client requirements. Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, maintaining written logs as required by the post.
