Job descriptionManage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an Intensivist Conduct daily patient rounding and management Enter orders, manage admissions, and oversee post-operative care Perform procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter insertion, and IABP removal Manage advanced cardiac support including VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant cases Must have a current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) Board certification in Critical Care Medicine required Previous experience in a critical care cardiac ICU is essential Flexibility with scheduling is necessary to meet patient care needs Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Assume leadership roles or managerial responsibilities in interim positions or short-term assignments, honing your leadership skills and management expertise. About The Position
We are seeking a Cardiology Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role features 13-hour shifts, with a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in a critical care cardiac ICU setting and a strong background in advanced cardiac life support.
