Job description

Coverage Needed :

  • Dates needed : Oct. 22-23, Nov. 3-5 & 28-30, Dec. 8-10 & 16-18
  • December 22 at 0700- January 5 at 0700.
  • Part-time position
  • 24-hour call shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Some days will have clinic within the 24 hour shift
  • Estimated 7 shifts per month

Clinical Details :

  • Department includes 1 MD, 2 Midwives, and 1 APN
  • 20-30 deliveries per month
  • Level 2 OB unit, no NICU
  • 24-hour shifts are call-back; required to come in only if a patient needs care
  • Covering OB unit and consultations in the ER for OB / GYN cases
  • No circumcisions performed
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Support Staff : 1 MD, 2 Midwives, 1 APN

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active Illinois State License required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • DEA, ACLS, BLS, and CSR certifications required
  • Privileges : Full and Temporary available
