Job Summary : \nThe Registered Nurse promotes and restores patient health by applying the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team, and providing physical and emotional support to patients and their families. Nursing care is delivered in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, Nursing Department guidelines, and regulatory standards.\n\nThis role is responsible for patient care in the Operating Room, functioning as both a circulating and scrub nurse, as well as a clinical teacher, to ensure safe and effective care. The RN maintains the surgical work area, participates in 24-hour call coverage, and uses advanced nursing assessment skills to identify and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.\n\nExperience : \n\nPrior Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing experience preferred\n\nLicensure / Certifications : \n\nCurrent Washington State RN license (required)\n\nCurrent American Heart Association BLS / CPR certification (required on hire)\n\nACLS and PALS (required within 6 months of hire)
