About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to manage the complete lifecycle of contracts for laboratory equipment services and building utilities. You will develop, negotiate, and oversee agreements from start to finish while ensuring all parties fulfill their contractual obligations. This role serves as the primary liaison between our organization, laboratory equipment vendors, utility service providers, and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Draft, negotiate, and revise service contracts for laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, repair services, and building utility agreements
Ensure contracts comply with laws and regulations while monitoring for potential breaches and mitigating risks
Track contractor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and quality metrics for laboratory and utility services
Review payment claims, monitor contract budgets, and ensure work completion meets contractual standards
Act as primary point of contact between laboratory operations, facilities management, and external contractors
Address contract variations, manage change orders, and resolve claims and disputes as they arise
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, or related field
3-5 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or vendor management
Experience with service contracts, preferably in technical or laboratory environments
Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and legal implications
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Contract Management Associate (CCMA)
Experience with utility rate negotiations and facilities management contracts
Estimated compensation for this position : 80,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
