Job description10% inpatient / 90% outpatient Focused on seeing patients within our northside practice, heavily focused on GI psychology Patient volume : 32 patients / week Practice locations include Spring Mill Clinic and IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN The primary responsibility of the Bariatric Psychologist is to provide psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery candidates. These evaluations include a diagnostic clinical interview as well as psychological assessment. The Bariatric Psychologist also provides direction and support to patients throughout the various stages of the program as needed, from initial evaluation to long-term follow-up, often by offering individual therapy and support groups. Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
