Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Compensation : $63K-$78K per year
Job Type : Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.
Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Bronx, NY location.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Assessment & Evaluation : Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties.Intervention Planning : Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes tailored to each student.Therapy Delivery : Provide individual or group therapy using techniques like articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions.Collaboration & Consultation : Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student communication needs and overall development.Documentation & Reporting : Maintain progress records, write reports for IEP meetings, and communicate findings.Benefits :

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent New York licensure as a Speech-Language PathologistCertification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestonesPediatric experience preferred, but not required.Why is This a Great Opportunity :
