Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position provides dedicated 1 : 1 nursing care for a medically fragile student in a school setting, requiring an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive support and health management throughout the full semester. The role is based onsite in Hopkins, MN, offering approximately 31 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include delivering specialized care such as tracheostomy management, ventilator support, ostomy care, and administration of nasally delivered medications for seizure control. The nurse will monitor continuous G-J tube feedings, assist with respiratory needs including use of nebulizers, and support the students overall health and safety while wheelchair bound.

Qualifications and experience desired :

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR / BLS certification
• Previous experience with tracheostomy care is essential
• Pediatric nursing background preferred
• Strong ability to manage complex medical equipment and conditions
• Compassionate and attentive to the needs of medically fragile children

Location : Hopkins, Minnesota

Schedule : 31 hours per week, full-semester contract
