Radiology Technologist Job Details Location : Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina healthcare jobs) Facility Type : Teaching Hospital, Magnet Facility, Level 1 Trauma Center Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026) Shift : 3x12-hour days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 7 : 00am – 7 : 30pm), holidays as needed Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750–$1790 On-call : Call rotation required (3-4 days / month) Floating : May float to other buildings on campus as needed Parking : Nights and weekends only; one-time $20 pass Scrub Color : Teal Top / Black Bottoms Charting System : Epic OR X-Ray Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an OR X-Ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist Current ARRT (R) certification and active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license (SCRQSA) American Heart Association BLS certification Recent operating room experience and proficiency with C-arm equipment required O-arm and trauma experience preferred Agency must supply radiation badge (facility does not provide badges to travelers) Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) South Carolina license must be active prior to start date First-time travelers accepted Must comply with 60-mile radius rule for non-local candidates Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in the operating room and outpatient settings Operate C-arm equipment for surgical imaging; O-arm experience is a plus Support trauma and emergency procedures as needed Float to Main OR or other campus buildings as required Participate in call rotation and provide holiday coverage as needed Maintain infection prevention and safety protocols, including radiation badge use Document procedures using the Epic charting system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Discover the perfect blend of history, culture, and coastal living in Charleston while growing your radiology career in a top-tier hospital.
