ICU RN Job Details Location : Dallas, TX 75237 (Texas nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Shift : Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680–$1730 Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 Weekend Coverage : Required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period) Floating : May float to IMC, PCU, or Step Down units as needed Charting System : Epic Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC (AHA preferred; military acceptable) Experience with Epic charting system Proficient in arterial line management, ventilator management, blood product administration, central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and multisystem organ dysfunction care Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts provided) Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult and geriatric patients Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, including advanced therapies (CRRT, hypothermia therapy, intra-aortic balloon pump support) Administer and titrate cardiac drips, intensive insulin drips, heparin, sedation, and analgesia Perform wound care, manage surgical drains and wound vacs, and provide nutritional support (TPN, tube feedings) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response) Float to IMC, PCU, or Step Down units as needed Accurately document all nursing care in Epic Participate in orientation and complete required modules (average 8-12 hours) Apply now to join our Dallas ICU nursing team and take the next step in your healthcare career!
