Hospital : Grand Strand Medical Center Location : Myrtle Beach, SC Address : 809 82nd Parkway Unit : Radiology Building : Main Campus General Information Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 400 Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day 3 scanners Unit staffing description- : 2 Techs per scanner-day / Total 3 techs / overnights Type of equipment : GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice Documentation system : Meditech Scheduling requirements : n / a Floating policy : n / a Patient Experience requirements : Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model. Hospital Specifics- Certifications : Joint Commission Accredited. CT ACR accredited Hiring profile Years of Experience Required : At least 1 yr experience in level 1 trauma setting Requested Skill Set : Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently Must have : Advanced skills needed : Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IP s. Procedures performed on unit : Routine CT exams for ED and IP s to include Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA. Certifications Required : ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred. Dress Code : (Required uniform) Charcoal grey.
