Job descriptionWork in a hospital-based radiology ultrasound department Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts, vascular, and cardiac studies as required Adult and possible pediatric patient population Shift is Monday through Friday, 3 : 00 p.m. to 11 : 30 p.m., no weekends or call Utilizes Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience preferred No floating required for this position Responsible for preparing patients, performing ultrasound exams, and producing complete and accurate images Administers IV and contrast as required Participates in equipment maintenance, quality checks, and required documentation Assists with patient transport and collaborates with physicians and hospital staff Engages in continuing education and may provide training or mentorship to students and new staff Compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and hospital regulations is required Flu vaccination required during flu season unless a medical exemption signed by a physician is provided Dress code and scrub requirements follow hospital policy Returning travelers may work up to one calendar year before a mandatory break is required Minimum of 1 year current experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Active ARDMS, ARRT, CCI, or equivalent ultrasound credential required (R.T.(S)(ARRT), RDMS(OB / GYN), (AB), (BR), RVT(VT), RDCS(AE), (PE), RCS) Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Strong communication, time management, and dependability skills License required if applicable No pending licensure at time of consideration Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility for travel eligibility High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
