Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Fabrication Fitter to join our team in an AISC-certified shop. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who is proficient in all aspects of layout, fit-up, and fabrication work. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of producing high-quality work that meets industry and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate layouts using blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Fit and fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous metal components
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols
• Measure, cut, drill, grind, and assemble steel components
• Ensure proper fit-up prior to welding or final assembly
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with AISC requirements
• Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts

Overtime available

Saturday availability required as needed
