Finance Manager I
This is a Financial Manager I position for the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands (FFSL). We are seeking a positive, communication-driven, detail-oriented, forward-thinker to join our financial team. Primary duties would include complex reviews of financial transactions and programs to ensure compliance with state and federal policies. Generate, analyze, and present fiscal budget forecasts. This is a new, rewarding, and challenging opportunity that requires an independent, flexible worker with the ability to learn.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, summarizes, and reviews data; reports findings, interprets results, and makes recommendations.
- Develops or modifies rules, policies, or standards, etc. Interprets, clarifies, explains and applies agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws and regulations, etc.
- Reviews fiscal operations to ensure integrity, accuracy and control of data.
- Manages special fiscal projects or activities of a highly specialized nature.
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and review of responses to internal and external parties.
- Complex reviews of financial transactions and programs to ensure compliance with state and federal policies.
- Generate, analyze and present fiscal budget forecasts.

At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or another related subject.At least 5 years of experience in a related field.Supplemental Information
