Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Network Hardware Stack

An opportunity for an experienced software engineer to contribute to the development of low-level software and firmware for high-performance networking hardware. The position involves working closely with hardware and silicon teams to design, implement, and optimize embedded systems and driver software for Ethernet components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain driver-level software that interfaces with the physical layer of Ethernet networking systems
• Build embedded applications targeting ARM-based microcontrollers to support hardware functionality at the PHY / PCS layer
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align software development with hardware design requirements
• Partner with customer-facing engineering teams to introduce new product features and troubleshoot technical issues
• Participate in silicon validation efforts during early hardware bring-up and support both pre- and post-silicon phases
• Focus on robustness, performance, and diagnostics—emphasizing rapid identification and resolution of field issues
