Join Our Team as a Clinical Nurse LPN!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in patient care? At Carle Health, we’re looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse LPN to join our supportive and inclusive team. Under the guidance of a healthcare provider, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Your Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse LPN, you will be at the forefront of patient care, engaging in a variety of essential tasks :

  • Assist providers and clinical staff in gathering vital information and preparing patients for examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Demonstrate your clinical skills by performing assigned duties competently.
  • Collect blood and other samples, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Administer vaccines and medications via oral, IM, SQ, or ID routes.
  • Place urinary catheters following established protocols.
  • Schedule referrals and complete necessary forms for lab testing, including appropriate coding.
  • Track follow-up appointments related to office visits and lab tests to monitor patient health.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records using standardized workflows.

Development and Patient Education

  • Stay informed about clinic updates by attending meetings and checking organizational communications.
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and Safety guidelines.
  • Exhibit professionalism by adhering to all policies, including Compliance and HIPAA.
  • Show initiative to enhance quality and customer service, striving to exceed expectations.
  • Educate patients and families using the Teach-back method, ensuring understanding.
  • Collaborate effectively with your team, valuing diverse perspectives and contributing to shared goals.
  • Assist the Clinic Administrator with additional tasks to ensure smooth operations.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The compensation range for this position is $21.74 - $36.31 per hour . This range reflects our commitment to fair compensation based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our team members.
