Qualifications :
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or grade level equivalent diploma (GED) and be able to pass a background check
- 18 years of age or older
- Must possess an Iowa Driver's License and have or be willing to obtain the following endorsements : CDL, Air Brake, School Bus and Passenger
- Effective communication skills
Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To :
A pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical will be required. Must be able to pass the STOP training course within six months of hire and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.Provide an appropriate role model for the studentsMaintain confidentiality on sensitive informationMaintain a high standard of student conduct at all timesKeeping the bus clean and inspecting for damages and repairs dailyOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements : Bending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing / pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking.
