We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at Meadows on Fairview Assisted Living in Wyoming, MN! This position is responsible for providing a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, is Ebenezer's 51 Unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents. Our community is small enough to get to know your residents and co-workers yet large enough to provide you with opportunities and room to grow. This schedule includes :

64 hours per two weeks

Day shift

Every third weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities :

• Cleans resident and common areas of the community as assigned
• Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and / or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, and cleans all glass windows / mirrors
• Prioritizes tasks and completes within allotted time
• Assists in cleaning emergency spills as needed
• Assumes other responsibilities as assigned
• Follows cleaning schedule and instructions regarding specifications of resident's individualized housekeeping needs
• Performs job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment
• Safely mixes chemicals according to instructions provided by the manufacturer
• Consistently follows safe body mechanics
• Demonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work area, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc
• Completes all OSHA training modules in a timely manner
• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on a daily basis
• Safeguards others' well-being by keeping chemicals and other hazardous materials locked when not in active use
• Communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked
• Communicates need for equipment repairs
• Adheres to all Lockout / Tagout requirements per policy
• Assists with light maintenance tasks as needed
• Participates actively in team meetings, reports on current state in the community, providing feedback on housekeeping-related items as they arise
