Human Resource Field Manager – Full-Time (Travel Between Sites) Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has proudly served seniors for 130 years in St. Paul's Midway neighborhood. We are currently hiring a Human Resource Field Manager to join our HR team and provide proactive, on-site HR leadership across multiple locations. This position plays a key role in employee relations, compliance, and engagement initiatives while traveling regularly between sites to support staff and management in the field.
Wage : $60,000-$70,000 yearly / salaried
Schedule : Full-Time day hours
What You'll Do
- Travel regularly between organizational sites to provide on-site HR support and ensure consistent practices
- Partner with site leaders to assess staffing needs, culture, and engagement at each location
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Oversee performance management processes, including coaching and improvement plans
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and recommend retention strategies
- Manage and ensure compliance with FMLA, workers' compensation, and unemployment regulations
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and generate reports for data-driven decision-making
- Train managers and staff on HR policies, systems, and best practices
- Coordinate employee engagement programs, recognition efforts, and workplace culture initiatives
- Represent the organization professionally during unemployment hearings and external audits
- Partner with the Director of HR to develop and implement workforce and compliance strategies across all sites
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience with strong employee relations and compliance backgroundProficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteIn-depth knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensationExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility and willingness to travel frequently between multiple sitesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities across locationsPreferred
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHRExperience in senior living, healthcare, or other regulated industriesPrior experience supporting multiple worksites or field-based teamsWorking Conditions
