Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at an early childhood school in Gualala, CA, serving students in Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd grade. This contract role is for the entire school year (NSY) and involves working with students who have moderate to severe special education needs.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for TK-3 students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to student abilities and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
• Maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
