We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer Level 3 to support the validation and testing of battery systems as part of our product development pipeline. This role is ideal for hands-on engineers with a passion for energy storage, electrical systems, and testing in a collaborative lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute battery validation and test plans in Peoria-area labs.
• Coordinate with external battery test facilities for remote testing, which includes occasional travel (under 25%).
• Set up and conduct electrical system tests on medium- to high-voltage systems.
• Analyze and review test data to provide actionable insights to internal design teams.
• Assist with applying and interpreting battery validation standards such as IEC, ISO, UL.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of validation test plans (DVP&R) and FMEAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure battery systems meet quality and performance standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $41.00 / hr.
