Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative at Laminated Shim Co. serves as the primary point of contact for customers within an assigned region. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, following up on quotes, generating new opportunities, and ensuring professional, timely communication. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary sales contact for an assigned region, focusing on content, former, and potential customers.
• Make a minimum of 30 outbound calls daily to customers and prospects, using company data, industry research, and CRM tools.
• Dedicate a specific 2-hour daily call block exclusively to outbound customer calls (no research, emails, or other tasks during this time).
• Generate quotes for laminated shims, spacers, brackets, and related products, and follow up regularly with customers to close opportunities.
• Research and identify new customers in the aerospace industry to expand customer base.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding purchase orders (POs), quotes, and order status in a timely and professional manner.
• Receive and process quotes and purchase orders per Laminated Shim's procedures, ensuring proper filing and record keeping.
• Provide customers with accurate and timely information regarding their quotes, orders, and jobs in progress.
• Escalate customer issues or concerns to leadership when appropriate.
• Use the EstiTrack CRM module to log all customer calls, document notable interactions, and maintain accurate, current customer data.
• Ensure consistent follow-up by documenting daily activities, customer concerns, and updates within EstiTrack.
• Maintain organized electronic records of quotes, purchase orders, and communications.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers via phone, email, and in writing.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer questions and concerns.
• Keep leadership informed of any customer feedback regarding quotes, pricing, or active jobs in the shop.
• Create and follow a structured daily and weekly plan to meet outbound calling, quoting, and customer service expectations.
• Continuously learn Laminated Shim's products and processes to effectively support customers and generate accurate quotes.
• Demonstrate accountability by consistently meeting call targets, quote follow-ups, and documentation standards.

Shift : M-F 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM (schedule may vary slightly)

Wage : D.O.E.

Start Date : ASAP after meeting all pre-employment requirements
