Packaging Design - Digital Artwork Review Specialist (QC).

Marketing by Design LLC is seeking an experienced Digital Artwork Review Specialist (QC) to join our team.

The post is full-time (40 hours), Mon Fri, 9 - 5.30pm reporting to the Production Director.

The post is open to remote working in the US (EST) only.

The pay range for this role is $55,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.

We are seeking a meticulous and highly detail-oriented QC Specialist with experience in digital packaging production artwork to join our team. The QC Specialist will review and validate digital packaging artwork files for accuracy, consistency before release to clients or printers. They will check for compliance with brand standards, technical specifications and regulatory requirements to prevent errors and ensure flawless handoff.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed inspections of packaging artwork files against master files, brand specifications, client briefs and technical print guidelines.
• Meticulously proofread all copy and legal content ensuring accuracy in product names, claims and details, general panel copy, instructions, warnings and regulatory symbols as well as cross checking translated text against the verified copy to ensure absolute accuracy.
• Verify technical specifications such as die-lines, cut / crease / fold lines, bleeds, safety margins, color separations (CMYK, Pantone / spot colors), overprint settings, barcode sizing and quiet zones, image resolution and general print feasibility.
• Ensure all design elements, including logos, colors, typography, and imagery, adhere strictly to established brand guidelines across all packaging variations.
• Validate brand consistency across packaging formats and SKU variations such as logo placement, copy hierarchy, color fidelity and typography.
• Collaborate with internal teams including project managers, preflight and artworkers to document and resolve issues in readiness for client review.
