About The Position

Job Title : NICU Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III, IV

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : 3-5 years NICU level III experience preferred

License : Valid nursing license

Certifications : BLS, NRP

Must-Have :

Weekend coverage is required every other week

Experience with arterial line management, central line blood draw, and care of neonates

Familiarity with EPIC charting system

Description :

The registered nurse will provide care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities include managing neonates and performing necessary procedures.

The nurse will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Required skills include management of various feeding methods and ventilator management.

Knowledge of neonatal abstinence syndrome and dosage calculations for neonates is essential.

The role requires adherence to isolation precautions and other safety protocols.

The unit supports a diverse range of patient diagnoses and special procedures.
