MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN / CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (MLT / CLT)

Certified Medical Laboratory Technicians / Clinical Laboratory Technicians (MLT / CLT) will provide diagnostic testing services to The Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System in Temple, Texas.

Must possess comprehensive knowledge of professional Medical Laboratory Technician principles, practices, concepts, and theories providing for sound independent work. Must possess comprehensive knowledge of laboratory quality control, quality assurance procedures, and principles of performance improvement providing for sound independent work.

Overview

The Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician / Clinical Laboratory Technician (MLT / CLT) to provide diagnostic testing services.

Specific Requirements

• Medical Laboratory Technician / Clinical Laboratory Technician (MLT / CLT) :
• Technician must have a 2-year Associates in Applied Science Degree
• Technician must have a minimum of two (2) years of laboratory experience
• Technician must be American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or American Medical Technologists (AMT) certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician / Clinical Laboratory Technician.

Compensation

$27.72 per hour plus an additional $4.57 per hour for Health and Welfare
