Job Description : PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all industrial electrical systems and automated machinery to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe operation. This role requires a strong mechanical troubleshooting background to diagnose and resolve complex issues and perform preventative maintenance. Some electrical and automation troubleshooting skills are helpful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Troubleshooting and Repair :

Systematically diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions in equipment, controls, and components using advanced troubleshooting skills.

Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

Read and interpret complex electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to perform required maintenance.

Install, support, and integrate new equipment and system upgrades.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and other maintenance team members to address complex issues and identify root causes of failures.

Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO), and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
