REPORTS TO : WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER

LOCATION : HOUSTON DISTRIBUTION CENTER—ON SITE DAILY

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Warehouse Operations Coordinator is crucial for aligning operational efforts, ultimately contributing to the overall performance and success of the organization. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily reports, activities, managing customer specific logistics, and supporting various departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Coordinate workflow - warehouse fulfilment and material que.
  • Provide administrative support across departments which may include scheduling meetings, managing correspondence on Teams, and stock checks.
  • Manage operational reports (open order report, will call orders, etc) and track Daily KPI’s (key performance indicators).
  • Manage logistics related to shipments via customer portals such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Northern Tools, Grainger, etc.
  • Assist in planning and executing projects, ensuring the goals are met on time and within scope
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create and manage transfer shipments to other distribution centers (Argents / Franklin)
  • Ensure 6S and safety activities are completed monthly.
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred
  • At least 3+ years of operations, inventory, logistics and / or customer service experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stake holders
  • Capable of resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in tasks and reports.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with SAP and / or Epicor ERP software a plus
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Repeatedly lifting cases weighing between 20-60 lbs throughout the workday.
  • Loading, pushing, and pulling heavy products.
  • Performing tasks such as lifting, bending, reaching, and squatting while loading, unloading, and moving products.
  • Occasionally work weekends.
  • You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, onsite daily.
