Job descriptionCHST Certification Support the Safety Director in implementing safety processes on-site. Manage injury response, incident investigations, and communication. Oversee ACCOs safety programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead and mentor field personnel and construction management on HSE and injury prevention. Collaborate with service department managers to foster a strong safety culture. Coordinate with clients and general contractors to meet safety standards. Conduct safety training and maintain safety records. Perform site inspections, hazard analyses, and incident investigations. Drive cultural change and coach leadership on proactive safety practices. Represent the company in environmental protection matters and regulatory audits.
One of our top construction company clients in Reno, NV is looking for a Site Safety Manager to join their team at a Data Center Project Site! This is a long-term project role set to run for at least 2 years with possibility for conversion.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of site safety management experience
- Experience in site safety management at a data center
- OSHA 510 / 511 certification (minimum); OSHA 30 preferred
- Experience in team and scope management.
- Training in First Aid, CPR, AED, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Emergency Procedures.
- Competency in NFPA 70E and Lockout / Tagout (LOTO).
- Mental Health First Aid training.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and technical safety advising.
