We are seeking an HR Generalist / Specialist to help strengthen our people-focused culture by supporting key HR functions such as training and development, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management. This role will play a vital part in building a positive and safe workplace where every team member can grow and succeed.

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team, with a strong focus on employee training and development, employee relations and engagement initiatives, and compliance audits (including I-9s). This role will play a critical part in shaping a positive employee experience while ensuring HR practices support business objectives and comply with regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Training & Development

  • Design, implement, and evaluate company-wide training programs.
  • Develop and facilitate leadership development programs for new and emerging leaders.
  • Partner with managers to assess training needs and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain training records and track progress to ensure continuous improvement.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Promote a positive work environment through proactive engagement strategies.
  • Support employee recognition programs and engagement surveys; analyze data and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct investigations as needed and document findings professionally and confidentially.
  • Compliance & Audits

  • Conduct regular I-9 audits and ensure documentation compliance with federal regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining up-to-date and accurate employee files.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and reports.
  • HR Operations & Support

  • Collaborate on HR projects and initiatives that enhance business performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and industry trends.
  • Assist in onboarding / offboarding processes and other HR programs as needed.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR experience , with emphasis in training, employee relations, and compliance .
  • Proven experience creating and delivering training and leadership development programs .
  • Strong knowledge of I-9 compliance and audit procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
